One of our services we offer is to install only Generators and Switches you may have bought or was given too. That is great but don’t mix and match. Don’t get a generator of one manufacturer and an auto switch from another. Some manufactures make for other brands like Generac private labels for Eaton, Carrier, Honeywell, and others. Also most warranties won’t cover damage if matching Gens and switches are not used. Also remember that warranties are void once a generator is installed in one location and moved to another.
So, the best rule of thumb is to call me first, let us check the recalls and compatibility. Then work on your offer. Some cases you may end up sending more than a new unit.
